Republicans Move To Shut Down Government Yet AGAIN, For Another Diabolical Reason

Republicans now want to shut down the government, and it’s for a sickening reason. A short-term spending bill failed in the Senate in September, 2016. Mitch McConnell and a few other Republicans want to keep the amount of money that is spent on political funding from the eyes of voters. They have also denied claims that they have supported the people in Flint after the water crisis that the city experienced.

The budget would fund the government until December 9, but there are many in the Senate who just can’t seem to get it together so that the budget can be passed. If the Senate can’t agree on the terms of the budget, the government could go through another shut down on October 1 and last until the politicians get their act together.

There are various reasons as to why some of the Republicans are fighting the budget. They want to keep the money flowing for their political campaigns. They want to keep this money so much that they are willing to let the government shut down if their demands are not met and so that the voters don’t have a clue as to what’s really going on behind closed doors.

Republicans are also against adding a bill about aid to Flint. There is assistance delegated for other areas of the country, but the Republicans refuse to add aid for this part of the country.
