Children love going out to eat with their parents, especially when they can get seated at a booth. Today, our story takes us to a well-known restaurant chain called the Texas Roadhouse near Dallas. The eatery is popular for its juicy hand-cut steaks and fall-off-the-bone ribs and yummy cactus blossoms and fried pickles.
One family had visited the establishment one evening and were turned away from sitting at a booth there. The strange thing, there weren’t any patrons in the booth before them and yet, the family was barred from choosing that corner of the restaurant. So, one member of the family got closer to the booth they were barred from and snapped a photo for proof. However, it’s not what you think, because this story holds significance and respect.
The family has now come to admire the Texas Roadhouse for going the extra mile in maintaining a special booth reservation. The photo the family member snapped and shared with social media has gone viral, because people understand why the booth was only for a certain few.

You will see a beautifully set table for five, complete with an elegant white tablecloth, and a full place setting for each. In addition, an American flag and state of Texas flag are both hung behind the table. There is a framed message that appears at the table, which says:
“In Honor of the five fallen Dallas Police officers lost in the tragic event.”
The Flower Mound restaurant wanted to show their love for the five Dallas officers who lost their lives during an ambush attack following a protest in downtown Dallas. The five killed were, Sergeant Michael J. Smith, Officer Michael Krol, Officer Patrick Zamarripa, Senior Corporal Lorne Ahrens and Mr. Brent Thompson, who worked for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police Department.
Texas Roadhouse is donating 10 percent of its sales on one day to the Assist the Officer Foundation, which is run by the Dallas Police Association.
The restaurant chain has also honored veterans in the past and often gives meal discounts to veteran patrons.
