The GOP Claims They Want More Christianity In Politics. How About They Start By Helping The Poor

Fox News, the GOP, and many others have been making a serious fuss in recent years about “God getting back in the White House” and claiming that politicians should “get back on track with Christianity. One of the ways that the political world can begin getting back on the right track is by helping those who are poor.

This might seem like something the government does all the time, but there are still people who are without a job and who are barely making ends meet even after working a full-time job, sometimes two. Jesus helped the poor, and that’s what some people think that politicians should do if they want to change the country.

Some people don’t want religion forced on them, but there are some who believe that religion and Christianity is what the country was founded on, and that’s what the people need to get back to in order to be happy. The question of President Barack Obama’s religious beliefs has been questioned since he entered office. No one really knows of his religious affiliation, and there is a chance that no one will before he leaves the White House.

All of the decisions made by politicians shouldn’t have a religious basis, but if there are going to be those who run the country who claim to stand up for God, then they need to show the rest of the country that they are behind God instead of following the crowd.
