Rosie O’Donnell Answers her Calling: ‘I willl play Steve Bannon on SNL’

Rosie O’Donnell is ready to make life miserable for the newly elected President of the United States, by offering to play the role of Steve Bannon on SNL’s weekly make fun of Donald Trump skits. Alec Baldwin has been assuming the role of Trump in his highly unflattering portrayal of the new president.

Bannon is the new White House chief strategist and quite the controversial, polarizing figure. Rosie O’Donnell doesn’t mind as a female, fitting into the character of Bannon and made those thoughts public via Twitter:

….. “i am here to serve – alec has trump – melissa has spice – i would need a few days to prepare – so if called – i will be ready
9:30 PM – 6 Feb 2017.”

Sadly, there wasn’t always a bitter exchange between the two. In fact, most would agree that there appeared to be a mutual respect. However, it’s been quite the coupling or un-coupling since about 1993. At that time, Rosie O’Donnell was one of the 1,000 guests attending the huge wedding event of Donald Trump and Marla Maples at the Plaza Hotel. They were on good terms and supported similar charities and were both often photographed at these events.

The fairy tale friendship then exploded just 13 years later, when Rosie began spewing venom at Donald Trump, who is now the newly elected President of the United States.

Rosie O’Donnell was still a cast member on The View in 2006, when she tore into Donald Trump for a press conference he’d just given about then-Miss USA Tara Conner. Ms. Conner had gotten in trouble for having abused drugs and alcohol.

Within a 5-minute ranting, which seemed like forever, Rosie O’Donnell ripped Donald Trump to shreds. Worst of all, she made fun of the billionaire’s hair, by imitating Donald Trump, even flipping her hair into a comb-over. “He annoys me on a multitude of levels,” she said. “He’s the moral authority! Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America.”

It will be interesting to see how President Trump reacts, if Rosie O’Donnell is called in to SNL to play the role of Steve Bannon in an upcoming TV skit.

Stay tuned, America. The feud between Trump and O’Donnell appears far from over.
