This article is in reference to a typical family day with a normal family routine. Kaleb and Kordale Lewis posted this picture on their Instagram page months ago. Had they known all the bad publicity this picture was going to get, they probably would not have posted it in the beginning.
They originally was not going to respond to the negativity due to security factors, however they felt they just could not be silent anymore. They are just a normal couple caring for their children as every other good household does.
The homophobic remarks and hateful words do not fit the description of this picture. The picture simply represents one of the many kinds of different households there are through out the world today. As a rebuttal, the dads partnered with Nikon in an ad campaign to dispel all the negativity and show how loving and how happy they and their children are.
It’s sad that still today many people have such strong feeling about what goes on in someone else’s home. If we worry more about ourselves and less about others, I strongly feel this world would be a better place. In these days and ages, there is no one of nothing that is considered the norm.
