James Breakwel is the father to four children and his Twitter account has been going viral thanks to a series of humorous tweets sharing his children’s observations and antics surrounding Halloween. Example tweets include:

• An exchange between he and his four-year-old on why they only trick-or-treat during Halloween, with the child replying with the observation that they could at least try it on other days.
• Another exchange with the four-year-old wanting to wear their wizard costume prior to Halloween and countering claims of ruining the costume’s magic by using magic to fix things.
• Yet another exchange where the four-year-old seems to want go trick-or-treating early in order to get all of the candy.
• Declaring that all of the children are to put their earned candy in a large communal bowl; regardless of whether or not this makes it easier for the kids to share, it gives James a better shot at sneaking some for himself.
• His six-year-old questioning why he would be heading to the grocery store for food when all the child thinks she needs is the free candy.
• Laughing at the challenge of carving a face out of the scribbled mess drawn on a pumpkin by his two-year-old. Complete with picture. This also becomes relevant after discovering that the child is afraid of the lit jack-o-lanterns.
