After being a postman for about 35 years, most people knew of his routine and the things that a man would do while on his route. His name is Glenn Corbett, and he has now changed the face of his job with a simple picture that was taken by a woman who saw him doing something sweet for someone else.
Corbett saw the funeral procession of a man who had been a WWII veteran, and he knew he had to do something to show his respect. He got out of his truck while it was raining and stood along the side of the road with his hands crossed in prayer while the procession drove past. The veteran’s daughter was among those who saw Corbett standing on the road, and she took a picture that is now being seen across the Internet.
The local news station received a copy of the picture as well. The station covered the story and shared what Corbett did with viewers. There have been almost 60,000 people who have liked the picture on social media.
