Giving birth can be a long and painful process, no matter if that mother is a human or a dog! In a recent viral video that was taken by a dog owner, it captured the birth of her puppies and a tender moment between the parents.
A mama German Shepherd dog clearly went through an intense birth with several adorable little puppies and appeared to be completely spent after the whole ordeal. In the video the brand new puppies all squeak and clamor around, trying to get to their mother to cuddle and fight for some milk while she lies exhausted on her side.
It looks as though all the poor mother wants to do is take a rest! It is easy to feel sorry for this new mother. The camera keeps rolling and captures one of the most tender moments between the new parents as the dad comes in to comfort the new mom.
He nuzzles her and begins to gently lick her face with care as a sign of tender affection. As the new puppies begin to nurse with their mother, the parents nuzzle closer and get a few moments of peace which may be all they get to enjoy for a while!
