Three brothers were stuck on the side of the highway after they got lost while they were on their way to Walmart. Fortunately, John Morris, who is a state trooper, saw the boys and rescued them. John was doing his regular route when he received a call saying that there were three children stuck on the highway.
The children were seven, eight and 17. John stated that he could not imagine his own children riding the bike in 110 degree heat. He took the boys to Walmart, but that was not the only nice thing he did for them. He also brought them ice cream at McDonalds.
A bystander decided to take a picture of the officer with the boys at McDonalds. This person also decided to post the picture on social media. They stated that the reason he posted the picture was to show people that there are good police officers out there.
John took the boys home after he brought them ice cream. He explained to the children what he did for a living on the way home. He stated that he has the opportunity to help people like them on a regular basis. John also made the children promise him that they would not get on the highway again.
