Hells Angels are bikers that are known for their tattoos and leather. However, this group is committed to defying the stereotypes about them. During Black Friday 2014, Hells Angels decided to buy bikes for underprivileged children.
They stood in line for five days and brought every bike at the local Walmart. The bikers gave all of the bikes to Poverello House, which is an organization that helps people who are fighting poverty, hunger and homelessness.
Children often take Christmas gifts for granted because they never had to want for anything. The bikes were given to children who most likely would not get anything for Christmas. This is not the first time that Hell’s Angels has donated a bike to less fortunate children. In fact, they have been doing this for the past 16 years.
Merl Hefferman is a member of the Hells Angels. He was also one of the people who stood in line for five days to get the bikes. He said that it was difficult to get all of the bikes. However, seeing the smiles on the children faces made it all worth it. People are encouraged to donate to the Poverello House. You can donate on the website or visit the Facebook page.
