GOP Health Plan is a Blatant act of Class Warfare – By the Rich, Against the Poor

Trumpcare robs from the poor and gives to the rich. It’s a classic example of Robin Hood tactics… in reverse. In America’s backwards version of Sherwood Forest, 24 million people run the risk of losing health care coverage over the next decade under the new Republican plan, and 52 million people are estimated to be uninsured by 2026. This Republican plan to replace Obamacare is a blatant act of class warfare.

Donald Trump’s empty promise of health insurance for everybody  is just another example of his administration’s “alternative facts.” What he really meant was less healthcare programs for poor and middle class families and more tax cuts for the wealthy.

According to the Congressional Budget Office’s assessment, the Republican plan robs more than $1 trillion from programs targeting the poor and middle class, many of those massive cuts affecting Medicaid.

Trump’s upward distribution plan would then use the money to fund an $883 billion tax cut for the wealthy. Trumpcare will effectively erode and destroy America’s already eroded social safety net. In the end, Trump’s health care plan is a classic example of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Forget “The Art of the Deal,” the Republican health plan is the epitome of class warfare.
