Lots of people haven’t read the Bible. Some have only read a few parts. Luckily for all those heathens there is one Facebook post that explains the entire Bible in a few short sentences. And it’s short too.
The information provided is enough to give you an idea of what takes place through the entire book.
It begins with Genesis, of course. The post reads like a conversation God has with the people in the Bible. He continues to give a few statements about the Old Testament and discusses the gospels. Jesus then talks about loving everyone even though they have sinned. And of course time eventually comes to pin Jesus up and put him to death. Paul’s letters are explained clearly, telling people that they are doing things wrong and that they should stop. Of course, the people don’t listen, and they continue to sin, but Jesus loves them regardless. Because he’s just that nice. The post ends with Revelation and talks about Jesus’ eventual return. He also reiterates that people should stop sinning because it’s bad, you know.
This post has received quite a few likes, and it’s easy to follow, proving that you don’t have to read the whole book to get the general ideas down. It’s like Sparknotes, but for God.
