Ex-President Bill Clinton has still got quite a sharp wit. He’s decided to use it to clap back at Donald Trump over his now-infamous series of tweets he unleashed back in March suggesting that the Obama administration had wire tapped the Trump campaign during the election.
Of course, such claims were refuted by basically everyone in the Obama administration and anyone with any common sense. Additionally, no evidence has ever been provided to suggest that it even may have happened.

Still though, it was perfect fodder for Clinton, who tweeted out a picture of himself standing in front of a giant grasshopper statue at the Clinton Center with the caption “BREAKING: We just learned that the @ClintonCenter has been bugged.” Dang. The statue and the tweet, aside from being hilarious, were to promote an “Xtreme Bugs” exhibit currently taking place at the Little Rock, Arkansas Clinton Center.
Twitter got the reference right away and appreciated the ex-president’s sick burn. @GenePark on Twitter said “preying for you Mr. President,” acknowledging he probably got the bug wrong. @brittreneehall replied “you scared the crap out of me till I looked down,” taking the tweet’s text a bit seriously at first.
A lot more tweeted out their disappointment about the election and how much they love the Clintons. Some people though just couldn’t help themselves though, with people like @glenn9oo saying “I did not have sexual relations with that bug.” Some things just never die, huh Bill?
