Yulia Taits is a graphic designer, photographer and retoucher from Israel. She recently did a photoshoot that focused on the beauty of albinos. Yulia stated that she is fascinated with the beauty of albinos because their beauty is so pure. Yulia often uses photoshop, but she did not edit the photos this time. She stated that she was happy she was able to create beautiful photography without editing.
Yulia stated that pure beauty was shown in the photos. There are photos of 11 children and adults. Yulia described the beauty of the people in the photos as being unique. They look like they come from fairytales. Yulia stated that one of the things about her photograph that makes her the proudest is the ability to create fantasy world with photography.
Every model was shot in front of a white background. They also wore white clothing in order to accentuate their complexion. Yulia stated that she wanted to show that white is not just one color. It comes in several different shades and tones. Yulia was a relatively unknown photographer before she took these photos. Ever since the photos were placed on the Internet, her name is becoming more famous worldwide.
Yulia posted the photos on Bored Panda, and they received over 485,000 views in just 72 hours. She stated that she was not expecting to get thousands of emails. She stated that she received over 17,000 emails in just two days.
Albinism is a rare condition. It only affects one in 17,000 people in the worldwide. People who have this disorder are often bullied and discriminated against. Yulia was born and raised in Russia, but she moved to Israel in 1995. She had this photo shoot idea in her head for three years and finally decided to make it a reality.
Yulia stated that she was happy to work with some amazing models during the photo shoot. The passion of the models encouraged her to create this amazing project.
