Beautiful 25-year-old plus-sized model Iskra Lawrence has been recently named as part of Aerie’s role model campaign, which shows that women are able to pull off styles and trends, regardless of what others say.
Despite being named a role model, and having drop dead gorgeous looks, the British beauty was still faced with bullies on Instagram who were looking to body shame her. One user called the size 14 model a “fat cow”. The user commented on her photo, “Fat cow. It’s only cus [sic] every f**ker on this planet is obese that that’s the norm … Plus-size models? give me a f**king breaking [sic]. Everyone needs to stop eating McDonald’s, the NHS is f**ked because of people like her eating too many bags of crisps.”
This is not the first time that Iskra has faced bullies like this one. Instead of allowing this faceless person shame her, she decided to hit back in an Instagram post of her own. Her post starts off with the caption,
“I’m sorry I couldn’t help myself…This is for anyone who has ever been called FAT. Opinions are like a**eholes — everyone’s got one”.
Her post was accompanied with a picture of the blonde beauty clad in only a pair of nude underwear, laying down surrounded by bags of chips all around her. She posts a second slow motion video where she eats a chip, then gives the finger.
She goes on to tell her audience that only they can judge their self-worth, and F what others think about them.
